An active lifestyle has been shown to be a powerful barrier against premature ageing. Elderly persons who appear young are constantly moving. Some of them never shied away from physical labour like cleaning or gardening, and they enjoyed taking daily long walks. Maintaining physical activity is essential for general health, particularly as we age. Another strategy to maintain the body looking young is to eat a balanced diet without going overboard. Regardless of age, a balanced and healthful diet is necessary for our bodies to perform at their best. It’s also critical to maintain mental stimulation. In addition to keeping our thoughts engaged and busy, reading, crossword puzzles, and a desire to learn new things can help to avoid memory loss and other cognitive decline that comes with ageing. Having a happy view on life, maintaining social connections, and taking care of one’s mental health are other strategies to stay young and healthy into old age.
